Pictured here is a complete set of 14 (2 sets of C-B) Music Blocks. These wooden blocks feature the letters C-D-E-F-G-A-B on one side only.

The blocks are made of painted wood (except the “C” block which is plain). The letters are cut from high-durability vinyl with a high-gloss, mirrored, gold chrome finish for maximum sparkle effect.

The blocks are colour coordinated in rainbow order (Plain, red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple).

I’ve used these blocks in my busy music studio for kids that are struggling to read. You can use these blocks in many ways: have the student put the blocks in order, put them on the correct keys on the piano (they stay in place if you push them against the fall board on the piano!). Students can color-code their music if they need extra help with certain notes!

Uses of these blocks include, but are not limited to: composition/improvisation aids, placement of hand position, learning the order of the music alphabet, learning the music alphabet backwards, finding notes on the keyboard, learning to play by colour notation for pre-readers, and more. You can even send sets of blocks home with your students!
